Brutal in the Greek is anemeros which means savage, fierce, wild. In English, it is synonymous with savage, cruel, vicious, ferocious, brutish, barbaric, barbarous, wicked, murderous, bloodthirsty, cold-blooded, callous, heartless, ruthless, merciless, sadistic;Do these words even mean anything in our hardened world? Have we become so numb to the nightly news of savagery that we are not even effected anymore? Planned Parenthood cuts the brains out of live babies... oh well. Man beats another man to death with a tire iron after speeding through a neighborhood... yawn (source). We live in a wicked and violent world that is rapidly descending into the darkest days that mankind will ever see. For the mighty restraining hand of God the Father is withdrawing and His Judgement is coming. When the great church is removed and all that is left on the Earth are wicked men and women the violence will spiral out of control. Woe to you inhabitants of the Earth...
