No One Knows the Hour or the Day?

Abigail and Dolley readers my husband sent me the below article from Hebraic Roots of Christianity Global Network.  The site is full of beautiful nuggets and I look forward in the coming days and weeks of thorough study.  In the mean time, the article below is the most comprehensive study I've seen on the Rosh Hashanah Rapture, so I figured my loyal readers would appreciate it.  So let's delve in!

At the Time of the End, the wise shall understand. Dan 12:10
The Wise Still Seek Him
Understanding the expression "No man knows the day or hour" is not possible by simply taking the English translation literally, because in the book of Daniel and the Book of Revelation, we are given EXACT descriptions of timing, relative to KEY events - such as the shutting down of the altar sacrifices in Jerusalem at the MID-POINT of the 70th week. Dan 9:27.

Jesus was asked, "When shall these things be?" Matt 24:3

His answer ties us in to a very specific event (The Abomination of Desolation) which can be measured on our calendars: "When you therefore shall see the Abomination Of Desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoever reads, let him understand:)..." Matt 24:15.

It is now clear that "no man knows the day or hour" does NOT mean "no man knows the day or hour" as we read it from a modern-day English perspective.

From his book "Signs In the Heavens" by Avi Ben Mordechai, he devotes a chapter to explaining what "no man knows the day or hour" truly means from a rabbinical Hebraic perspective. It is a figure of speech.

The following chapter contains edited excerpts from Avi Ben Mordechai's commentaries and builds on them aiming to explain that the Holy Bible does in fact reveal the "day and hour" or "exact timing" of our Lord's Return.

No One Knows the Day or the Hour?

Christians over the centuries have separated themselves from their Hebraic roots causing the misunderstanding of key Jewish biblical idioms. An idiom is also a figure of speech. When Y'shua (Jesus) uttered His famous words concerning the Messianic Era in Matthew 24:26, "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in Heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father", He used a common Jewish figure of speech referring to a specific Jewish Festival. In essence He was saying, "I am coming for My Bride on such and such a day! Be watching!" What day could the Jewish idiom be referring to? Keep reading!

Rethinking the Fall Feast in Relation to the Church - Part 1 The 2015 Dust Storm Roller Coaster Ride

The Fall Feasts have been a subject of intense scrutiny and study for the last seven or eight years.  We surmised that they were never intended for the Jew alone but were the Feast of God.  We've learned that the Hebrew word used in "Feast" is moedim which means God's Divine Appointment.  The hindsight of the fulfillment of the Spring Feasts by Jesus death and resurrection has stirred within the heart of believers the blessed hope of Jesus fulfillment of the Fall Feasts at his Second coming; starting with the Rapture on Rosh Hashanah.  Abigail and Dolley readers know that I have been a deep researcher into this possibility and have written many blog posts on the subject.  In light of the fact that we are still here, we must entertain the possibility that our hypothesis, while based in excellent research, was incorrect.

I have never been dogmatic regarding the theory of a Rosh Hashanah Rapture but it would be disingenuous to assert that I was not eagerly anticipating the 2015 Holiday.  As if to prove that He will not be controlled or governed by what we want Him to do, He sent a huge dust storm over Israel which delayed the siting of the moon for two days.

Massive Dust Storm
The Great Dust Storm delay had a reverberating effect that threw the entire holiday season into confusion and speculation of the dates.  The civic calendar was set but then the religious calendar went haywire!  Was the festival one day or two, what time does it start, what day does it start?  Did we have Elul 31?  What happened to the world markets?  What does this all mean?!? We have the last of the final blood moons on Sunday which kicks off the Feast of Tabernacles but even that is in question because of the delay in Rosh Hashanah!  In all, for the Watchers on the Wall, this Fall Season has been gloriously stimulating, confounding, and exciting!

As Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur have come and gone, with all their trumpet blowing, we eagerly anticipate the last feast, Tabernacles.  More important than that, and more profound we must conclude that the only sure Trumpet to be looking for is this one:  1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.

With the convergence of signs and the birth pangs it would be more fool hearty of me to double down on the Rosh Hashanah Rapture Theory and insist that we must wait another year, another seven or another fifty...  In some ways, I love that we were wrong!  I love that His ways are higher than our ways, and we will eagerly anticipate the day when He will show us where in the Scripture He hid the prophecy!  Maranantha!

Blood Moons and More - Why September 2015 is Interesting

Abigail and Dolley readers why are we looking at September 2015 with our eyes peeled?  What has prophecy buffs so excited?  I'll tell you, it is a convergence of signs.  Notable numeric, celestial, and prophetically significant events all coming together this Fall.  This is the most anticipated prophecy season that I've seen since I started seriously studying this in 1998.  We must go forth with caution but I would be disingenuous if I did not admit that I am excited and full of anticipation.  (Originally published June 2015, as I've found new events, I am adding on to the post.)  I've written a ton about this and will include links to full blogs but here's a quick run down:

Blood Moon with a "fig" tree
September 2015 Specific Events:
1.  The Fourth Blood Moon on September 28, 2015 (Feast of Tabernacles) - discovered by Mark Biltz.
2.  End of the Shemitah (Sabbath) Cycle on September 13, 2015 (Feast of Trumpets) - significance discovered by Jonathon Cahn and documented financial collapses.
3.  Jubilee Year to be declared on September 23, 2015 (Day of Atonement)
4.  Jerusalem Recaptured - 49 prophetic years to the day on September 23, 2015 (Day of Atonement)
5.  French Foreign Minister declares 500 days until climate chaos ends on September 23, 2015 (Day of Atonement)
6.  Pope Francis visit to the US begins on September 23, 2015 (Day of Atonement) with the President, September 24, 2015 to address a joint session of the US Congress, and September 25, 2015 to address the UN.
7.  The UN opens it's 70th Session on September 15, 2015 (Feast of Trumpets)
8.  Solar Eclipse - on September 13, 2015 (Feast of Trumpets)
9.  Jade Helm - the massive US Military exercise planned for the SW US ends on September 15, 2015 (Feast of Trumpets)
10.  More Signs in the Heavens:  Virgo (the Virgin Bride) will be clothed with the sun and moon joined together at Virgo's head on the September 13, 2015 (Feast of Trumpets) led by King planet Jupiter near King star Regulus in constellation Leo the Lion (King of Judah) (some believe the moon is representative of the Church and the sun of Christ)
11.  It is interesting that Passover 2015 falls on a Friday, 4/3 just like in 33 AD.  (Which the heavens declare was the crucifixion date).  The fall feasts in 2015 fall on 9/13, 9/23, and 9/28 just like in 33 AD, and even on the same days of the week - Sunday, Wednesday, and Monday. (source).
12.  The World Meeting of Families is set to take place in Philadelphia September 22-27, 2015.  This is a Roman Catholic conference, that at first glance does not seem extraordinary because the date and the location coincide perfectly with Pope Francis visit described above.  What is unusual was the date and location were announced by Pope Benedict in 2012 and at the writing of the above link, Pope Francis had not been named successor nor were the organizers certain he would be at the event.
(New) 13.  The US Congress' deadline to approve the nuclear deal with Iran ends on September 15, 2015 (Feast of Trumpets).
(New) 14.  The Jewish Sanhedrin is scheduled to put Obama on trial - September 9, 2015
(New) 15.  The Jewish Sanhedrin is scheduled to put Pope Francis on trial - September 20, 2015
(New) 16.  The Significance of the Number 4 and how it is playing out in September.
(New) 17.  Leading Jewish Rabbi predicts the arrival of Messiah on the eve of Rosh Hashanah - September 12, 2015

UN Monument of St. George Slaying the Nuclear Dragon in honor of Elimination of Nuclear Weapons Day presented by Russia on Sept 29.1990 (The Day of Atonement)
Annual September Events of Interest in Light of the above:
1.  The UN celebrates the International Day of Democracy on September 15, 2015 (Feast of Trumpets) where they promote consolidating world democracy (Note Democracy is not a stable form of government and almost always leads to Oligarchy and Dictatorship).
2.  The UN celebrates the Elimination of Nuclear Weapons Day on September 26, 2015 - what a perfect set up for Tribulation disarmament.  Note the above statue, the rider does not have a weapon and slays a dragon made of US and Russian nuclear weapons.  (Rev 6:2) For more on the statue, click here.
3.  CERN celebrates their annual take Science to the Street on September 25, 2015
4.  Autumnal Equinox - First Day of Fall on September 23, 2015 (Day of Atonement)
5.  Dozens and Dozens of Movies, TV Shows, and Music Videos feature the day September 23 (Day of Atonement)
6.  Hindu Holiday Varaha Jayanti Muhurat on September 15 (Feast of Trumpets) which celebrates an incarnation of their God of Peace
7.  Hindu Holiday Ganesh Chaturthi on September 17 - starts a ten day holiday that commemorates a son (spirit of Tamuz) character, guarding his goddess Mother (spirit of Semiramis) from her angry husband the destroyer Shiva (spirit of Nimrod). (For more information check out this video.)
8.  Muslim Holiday of Eid al-Adha on September 23-26 (Day of Atonement) where they bastardize the account of Abraham and Isaac and substitute Ishmael as the son Abraham was going to sacrifice.

A statue of the Hindu God of Destruction Shiva outside the HQ of CERN
Non-Date Specific Signs:
1.  Prophecy of the Fig Tree - Matthew 24:32-34 - "This generation shall not pass away".  My opinion is that a generation is 70 years and it began in 1948. (For more see:  The Last Generation)
2.  The UN declares 2015 as the Year of Light and Light Based Technology - note in the occult Satan is the Angel of Light and Pyramids are symbols of power.
3.  The increase in the Birth Pangs all escalating rapidly.
4.  For an overview of the possible timeline, please check out Beyond the Blood Moons.
5.  A reestablishment of the Jewish High Court Sanhedrin (Exodus 18:21).
6.  The technology of the Tribulation is the technology of today - not 10, 20, or 50 years from now.

Pyramid where closing ceremonies of the Year of Light will take place
Speculation:
1.  It is speculated that France will introduce a measure at the opening of the UN in September for Palestinian Statehood, which for the first time in history the US will not block.
2.  CERN to open a portal into another dimension in September - (here's a great video if you don't know about this organization and their plans).
3.  Many believe the Rapture of the Church will take place on the Feast of Trumpets
4.  Many believe the Tribulation will begin on the Day of Atonement.
5.  Many believe that the Lord will return on the Feast of Tabernacles.

In the end, given the preponderance of evidence, it is compelling and exciting.  I encourage you to check out all of the above links yourself.  Interesting, even to a "non-conspiracy" theorist like me!

Feast of Trumpets - Tidbits and Facts

Abigail and Dolley readers this is from our guest blogger, we'll call her "Abigail".  I hope you enjoy:

1 Thessalonians 5:1 "But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you."
Times in greek is "Chronos" and seasons means "Kairos" and it refers to the feasts and festivals. So the Thessalonians knew that Paul was referring to the feasts and festivals.
It is historically taught that on the feast of Trumpets the doors of Heaven are open and on Yom Kippur the doors close. Rev 4:1 "After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter."
Here we see a door open in Heaven (Feast of Trumpets/Yom Teruah) and the voice of a trump (last trump/trump of God) telling John to come up hither.
There are many more correlations between the Rapture/Jewish Wedding/Feast of Trumpets that without a doubt identifies what the last trump is and when it is blown. Coupled with the fact that the feast of Trumpets begins a new year.
Years come in groups of seven (just like days of the week). It is possible that we are in the sabbatical year and the new seven year cycle will begin in Sept 2015.
On the Jewish calendar a week always begins on the 1st day Sunday and ends on the Sabbath Saturday. If we are in the Sabbath year (last year in the cycle), then this feast of Trumpets 2015 could very well be the beginning of a new seven year period. Which means we may very well get to go home and the seven year tribulation will begin.
Keep in mind the seven year cycle must begin with the first year being after the seventh "sabbatical" year. Interesting info and again I encourage everyone to study the Rapture/Jewish Wedding/Feast of Trumpets. I have more Scriptures to support the Feast of Trumpets/Rapture and it really is a beautiful picture of our Messiah.
Note: The Four Blood Moons are a sign that war is coming for Israel. Will that war be what starts the seven year tribulation? Now, indeed only our Father knows that. Amen.

Waiting on the Due Date

Very Pregnant Lady
Abigail and Dolley readers I've been contemplating Birth Pangs and waiting on the Lord.  I've written about this for years; from a plaintive cry in May 2011, to Warning Signs in 2013, to the Convergence of Signs in Sept 2014.  I was hit anew with the realization that the labor pains are coming fast and furious now.  Anyone who has ever eagerly awaited the birth of a child knows what this feels like, the waiting is long.

From the moment of conception, it becomes a hope.  As the baby takes root and the test results are positive, the loved ones and the expectant mother celebrate the happy news.  They settle in to wait.  They plan, they shop, they decorate, they visit the doctors to check on the signs but most of all they wait and wait and wait...  For the Fathers it does not really seem real, for Mothers it is real because we can feel it, we live with it, and waddle with it every day!

Toward the end, rounding the last corner, the final month I thought I would be pregnant forever!  I was bed ridden and grumpy; I was huge and swollen without a definitive due date.  The baby measured much larger than he should have at the first ultrasound so we were not sure if he was due at the end of April or the end of May!  It was terrible - we knew there was a baby coming but we just did not know when.

Because of this ambiguity, the anxiety level began to peak.  This picture was at the end of April, after 6 weeks of bed rest.  I started to lose it contemplating another month.  I cried to my Dad, I just could not stand the thought!  He calmed me down and told me to relax and take it one day at a time.  I remember being irritated at him about that advise!

Finally, they set a date.  In the days leading up the appointment, I was exhilarated that the wait was over but nervous.  Each day it got closer, each day was a new realization that the wait was finally over but it still wasn't quite real.  Driving to the hospital was almost surreal...

What I described is exactly what the Body of Christ is going through now.  We know He is coming, we've been waiting a long time.  The signs are here, the birth pangs are upon us, we just aren't quite sure when the due date is!  We are on bed rest, sick, swollen, and miserable and the thought of going through this indefinitely is just more than we can take.

When I began to study the Festivals, the moedim, the divine appointments it struck my Spirit that God has set the appointment already.  In the fabric of time, from the foundation of the world, the appointment was set we just have to stay strong and take my Dad's advise - one day at a time.

Yom Kippur 2015 - Convergence of Signs

Abigail and Dolley readers in these times, there are conspiracy theories EVERY WHERE.   One can fall down Alice's Rabbit Hole and find all sorts of interesting theories!  On prophecy there are pretrib, midtrib, post trib, pre-wrath, post wrath, Americacentric, Anti-Catholic, Anti-Israel replacement theologies all hanging out with secular end times, FEMA camp, Climate Change, Illuminati, UFO/Aliens, Zombies, 9/11 Truthers, and Chem-Trail watchers all prepping for the storm about to come!  Thus, I have begun to look at what other schools of thought are putting forth and I am finding interesting tidbits that I'd like to share.

Yom Kippur this year seems significant, we touched on this in our study of the Significance of Yom Kippur 2015 but apparently there is quite a bit more to the story. There are dozens of examples of the dates Sept 22-28 being used in TV, movies, and speeches given by public officials.  Renee M's YouTube Channel has an interesting perspective on these occurrences:

The above is part 1 of a 4 part series where Renee fleshes out dozens of examples of Yom Kippur 2015 and the weight of evidence is pretty compelling.  Combine these events, with the studies we've done and patterns emerge of what might be happening in the days after the Rapture.

Redeemer of the Bread

Abigail and Dolley readers bakers will tell you, that once you learn the science of bread baking, it becomes an art.  The nuisance of flour, water, yeast, humidity, and temperature insure that no loaf of bread is identical.   Much like the daily walk of faith, we experience the richness of our lives in the variety of the bread.   We bake a lot of bread around here; the theme of bread is spread through the Scripture.   Bible believing Christians should reject the evolutionary theory diets and consider the wholesome and heady art of homemade bread; we've never looked back.

From a Biblical perspective, the rule of first mention finds the term to be one of struggle to feed.  Genesis 3:19 is where God is passing sentence on mankind and the earth for the fall.  The context of bread is that it will cause man to sweat to eat it, toil and hardship from the ground.  The world suffers from hunger and toil; the soil is cursed because of the fall.  The Hebrew word is Lechem and means bread, food, grain but the root word of Lacham means to fight and to do battle.  We also have Unleavened Bread with first mention in Genesis 19:3 of the word Matshsah, in context, Lot is hosting the two angels who have come to destroy Sodom and he feds them unleavened bread.  We also see Chametz in Exodus 12:15 used to describe unleavened bread and used in the same sentence as Matshsah.  Chametz has as it's root word Chamets which means to be cruel, sour, or red.  Manna in Exodus 16:15 from the Hebrew word Man which literally means, "What is it?" it's root word being Mah and is used the first time, when God says to Cain, "What have you done?" Genesis 4:10. Expanding further, we have Challah and Raquiyq as cakes and wafers introduced in Exodus 29:2 which was the consecrated bread of the priests.  For centuries, the Jews have celebrated the Passover Seder never realizing the Messianic significance of the breaking of the bread, the hidden bread broken and hidden away.  The matzah bread eaten on the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread is a symbol of the pierced, stripped, and broken body of Christ.  The process that Jewish bakers employ to insure there is absolutely no yeast or rising of the bread is heroic in its adherence to the law but yeast exists in the air, it grows on our bodies; it symbolizes sin.

Conversely, in the New Testament, the word is Artos which means bread or to eat – Matthew 4:4 the first mention being made by Satan, when he tempts the Lord to turn rocks into bread.  Christ quotes Deuteronomy 8:3 where the Hebrew word Lechem is used.  Jesus tells us he the bread of life, (John 6:35) that those who would partake of his sacrifice will live and reign with Him forever.   At the Last Supper, he took the bread and broke it, the giving it to his disciples and commanding them to partake in his body, broken for them.  After His resurrection, it was the breaking of the bread that revealed his identity to the two disciples that had walked with him on the road to Emmaus.  (Luke 24:30-31).

Where man has had to struggle since the fall under the weight of sin and death, Jesus Messiah's sacrifice did what no mere man could have ever done, He redeemed the bread.

To learn more about how Jews and Christians share in this celebration, I'd ask you to watch this video:

Passover and Yom Kippur - What is the Difference (Millennial Bible Study Part 10)

I'm an American Christian, so the study of the Feasts was new territory for me in 2013; particularly, I've struggled to make sense of Yom Kippur.  How does this fit into the plan?  If Christ fulfilled the Spring Feasts with his first coming, I'd get through Rosh Hashannah but then "What happens next?".  Honestly, I still have much more study to do, but here is what I do know.

To look at this from a Feast perspective (Moedim - God's Divine Appointment), it is of note, that the redemptive sacrifice of Passover is the Lamb which saves you.  The blood of the lamb saved Israel in Egypt and the Messiah's role as the Passover Lamb, once and for all, saves mankind.  (Hebrews 10:10).

The reconciliation sacrifices of the Yom Kippur, are goats which symbolically cover sin but do not save (Hebrews 10:4).  So, Israel participates in the Day of Atonement as a temporary covering, offered on behalf of the nation of Israel, by the high priest.  The very act of letting the high priest make the sacrifice and accepting it as your own is prophetic.

Spiritual Truth:  The fundamental difference between the lamb and the goat is that one saves and other temporarily covers.

Taken together, one can extrapolate that since the church is never under the covenant of animal sacrifice, (which resumes in the Tribulation and the Millennium) then the church stops being part of the feasts at the Rapture, meaning that Yom Kippur and Tabernacles are fulfilled at the Lord’s Second coming but without a role of the church!

Passover will be celebrated during the Millennium, along with the Feast of Tabernacles for the Nations (Ezek. 45:21-25), it is possible that the New Covenant with Israel (Jeremiah 31:31-34) will omit the other Feasts because Christ's fulfillment of them is complete.  The order of the Feasts is Prophetic in their order - it starts with the Passover Lamb and ends with the Redemption of the Nations and God dwelling among His People.  Blessed be the Name of the Lord.

The Latter Rain

The below is contributed by my friend and guest blogger, Abigail.  I know you will enjoy this insight.

"Jesus Will Come To Us Like Rain"

The Pre-tribulation Rapture in relation to The Feasts of the Lord.

Joel 2:23 "Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month."

This tells us our Messiah will come as the former rain (Spring feasts) and again as the latter rain (Fall feasts). The prophet Joel tells us this events will occur in the first month.

***The month of Nisan is the first month of the religious calendar.

***The month of Tishri is the first month of the civil calendar.

Spring Feasts/Former Rains (First month of the religious calendar)

1. Passover Nisan 14
2. Feast of Unleavened Bread Nisan 15-21
3. Feast of First Fruits Day after Shabbat of unleavened bread
4. Shavuot (Pentecost) 50 days from the same Shabbat

***These first four feasts have been fulfilled by Jesus.
