It Was Just Too Nice Outside

Abigail and Dolley readers - it was just too nice outside this weekend to stew about politics and current events.  After one of the coldest and dreariest winters in memory, sunny and 60 degrees was like paradise.  Optimism and hope flowed and I took a big stretch after a sedentary hibernation.  No matter that the rain is falling today, I carry within me the promise of Spring.

I watched several hours of the CPAC conference this weekend and I must admit I was encouraged.  I was especially impressed with the straw poll pick of Ron Paul - substance over suave.  That is a good sign. 
Glenn Beck giving the keynote - that is a good sign.  All in all, hope springs eternal in the heart of America.  Bring on the fight boys, we are ready.
